Okay, after upgrading perl from 5.8.4 to 5.8.8 on my PPC LinkStation
(running debian) the CLI commands from slimfx are no longer crashing
slimserver. (From other reports it looks like I might have been able to
get by with just upgrading a few CPAN modules, oh well.) And I can fully
appreciate that it is a huge step forward in the interface. Some initial
comments:

1. Great use of Flash. So much of the Flash that is out there is just
crap eye-candy that it's given the tool a bad name. Nice demonstration
that Flash can be utilitarian instead of annoying!

2. slimfx is great for building playlists. It's not just the drag&drop,
but also having easy access to all my tracks, something that is
cumbersome in the standard slimserver web ui.

3. As has already been mentioned (including by gsamsa), it would be
nice to have an option to display based on album art thumbnails.
Someone cleverer than I might have a good way of doing this within the
iTunes "filter" model that slimfx has at present, but even an option to
do it like the Touch skin would be nice.

4. It would be nice to be able to expand the "Now playing" window, to
include possibly larger album art for the current track, a progress
bar, etc.

5. Improved updating of the "Now playing". For example, the bolded text
for the current track doesn't update automatically. Or if doing a
dynamic playlist that is constantly adding tracks, those tracks aren't
added to the now playing window. For both of these I need to refresh
the browser, or use the drop-down to switch to a different player and
then switch back, to update the playlist.

But let me say again, this is a really nice job, and I'm looking
forward to v0.7!!
