What the two has in common is the goal of being able to make use of computers with a small amount of RAM and not the latest hardware. Meaning that SATA drives maybe isn't of highest priority... :-)
I'm mainly interested in having this machine for SlimServer/music library + occasional use as Internet Computer for my wife. So both SlimCD (though installed on HD) and SlimNAS seems like a way of not having to install Windows XP.
