Not sure about 'streambuf' but I am using the LMS RP app on a Vortexbox running Linux Fedora 23. I have tried increasing the LMS setting > Advanced > Network > Radio station buffer seconds from 5 to 20 seconds. I thought it had improved things with the stuttering but it started to fail again around 17.00 UK time yesterday.
