OK I think there are two points.

Second point first - from the WebUI I found getting the Tune-In option
"unreliable" - it would appear if I drill down through menu to
Country/London and all station but wouldnt; If I used search or used
"featured". Maybe "unreliable" - not displayed when there are no
options !

First point - LMS has to ask for HLS streams. At the moment an LMS
Tune-in search for "bbc radio" looks like
http://opml.radiotime.com/Search.ashx?id=&formats=*aac,ogg,mp3,wma,wmvoice*&partnerId=YY&serial=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX&query=bbc%20radio

If you want hls stream to be included in the results then "hls" needs to
be added in the search crtiteria - as follows
http://opml.radiotime.com/Search.ashx?id=&formats=*aac,ogg,mp3,hls,
wma,wmvoice*&partnerId=YY&serial=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX&query=bbc%20radio

Then the Tune-in plugin on LMS also has to understand the format.
