You've reported network-ish issues before. The change to CometD does seem to have caused Material to notice disconnects more frequently. On my Android phone if I leave if for about 15 minutes (perhaps more) I frequently see the spinner, and sometimes the full screen dialog when I unlock the screen. However 99% of the time it automatically reconnects, for the other times the "Reconnect" button works. Sorry, but I don't have access to your system so I cannot see what the errors are. You have not even detailed which OS and browser you are running Material on, or where LMS is running. However, even with this info I'm sceptical that I can do much.
