I think lms halts then reloads because if you refresh web browser lms main screen doesn't load up. Plus the music stops playing. Then takes minutes to restart lms.
Just for a test I disconnected my computer from any network. Then fired up LMS. I would get all the warnings you've seen in your log file. Then I fired up the Settings/Plugins. Took LMS about a minute to recover, but the page would eventually load, giving me some more error message at the top about "invalid repositories". But it would definitely not crash.
So please give it some slack. Don't restart it, but leave it alone for a minute or two when trying to bring up the plugin settings.
