For those of you, like me, who use Material on Android and are bugged by
the "Insecure site" warning that chrome produces when you enter text,
I've discovered a chromium fork named "Kiwi Browser". This, like Chrome,
allows Material to be saved as a stand-alone web-app, but does not
produce the "Insecure site" warning when entering text. I've been using
this with Material for the last few days, and it seems to work OK -
basically the same as Chrome, but without the warning. I've not used
this for anything else (I use Firefox for general browsing), so I'm not
recommending this as a general browser (but also have nothing against
it), just seems to work for me as a work-around for the warning message.
Anyhow, just thought others might like to know...
