The problem is due to the change supplied by maniac103 29 April 2019 Slim/Formats/Playlists/Base.pm
It might actually be my tweak to it from the same day (commit ID cea17eb45). Reverting it would likely fix your case, and not break too many of maniac103's cases. If you can confirm this, I'll be happy to revert.
