By itself, the Squeezebox Classic will not play either of the available
FLAC options: FLAC Interactive, FLAC Regular Stream, but it will play
MP3 192kbps. With FLAC, the appropriate messages display ("Radio
Paradise," "FLAC Interactive" ...) and the ‘time play’ counts up, but no
music actually plays.
If the Classic can't play it, then obviously the sync group wouldn't play either. What does your server.log say when you try to play flac on it?
Synchronized, the options are FLAC Interactive, FLAC Regular Stream, and MPS3 192kpbs. (I don’t know why AAC is unavailable.)
The Classic can't play AAC natively, therefore it only allows MP3 and FLAC.And you're saying all of this changed with the latest update? TBH I don't believe any of it should have changed.
