I have been experiencing intermittent audio with multiple synchronized players and Spotify for quite a while. Spotify on a single player seemed to be better but today with just one player it has become extremely intermittent. I've also noticed that the track position will jump back repeatedly when this occurs within LMS web page and will start incrementing forward when the the audio returns. The track position in the Spotify app does not jump back and LMS and the Spotify app go out of sync. The track position in the Spotify app will then be at the end of the track. If I skip to the next track it will start playing the next track until it becomes intermittent again. I have tried disabling Ogg Vorbis for Spotty with no effect. LMS 7.9.2 is running on a Synology NAS918+ (x86) Spotty Helper aarch64 v0.20.0 and the player is a Logitech Squeezebox Receiver FW 77. Both devices are on cabled ethernet connections. If I change to a non LMS spotify connect device the playlist streams without issue.
