Did you look at the actual image? From

This implies, that whilst the PNG file might be square, the image is not
- as it just has transparent borders. If true (can't check at the
moment), then this is not useful to Material, as the real image still is
not square. What I was originally saying, was that it'd be -nice- if MAI
could choose the most square-ish of its images as the one to return -
then any cropping would have minimal effect.
