The reason AlienBBC so good is this: The BBC keeps an archive of the last 7 days' radio output on its website. AlienBBC lets me access this archive from my armchair, through my stereo, with just the squeezebox remote control. So I can spend my time listening to comedies adn documentaries that I've missed.
BBC radio output is often of much better quality than TV. It also lets me listen to BBC radio channels that are only otherwise broadcast as digital radio.
