Material 0.9.5 is looking great! I am currently running 0.9.6 now, pulled from GitHub. In late January, Michael added what I thought is a very cool addition to LMS 7.9.2, although he apparently thought it to be a minor new feature: a Preset Editor plugin. In the client, the buttons work like an old car radio with pre-programmed push buttons. In LMS, each available button can be assigned an internet stream URL, Playlist, Favorite, etc. All the client has to do, is "push" one of the available buttons. LMS permits a set of presets for each player that it knows about. The editor is under Server settings > Player tab > Presets Editor. I used to drive cars with buttons like this ... actually ... I still do. Now, this might not seem terribly useful if it were to be implemented in material's desktop display, but in the mobile display, I think it would be quite useful. I would love to see this added somehow to material, if it could be done. The next question becomes - where would you put such buttons, for any that have been assigned something for the current device? I don't exactly know, possibly as a row in the Player Selection Menu? I learned about this feature after it was implemented in the Android app Squeeze Ctrl. It makes selecting something I listen to often, like the Radio Paradise main FLAC stream, easily selected while driving with my phone in the car, or when out for a walk. I should offer an explanation - I use a NeoRouter-based VPN to stream music from LMS running on my home server to my phone.
