Craig, I see where you recently implemented (GitHub) an ability to specify a default player. I notice that the player gets set to default when whenever the browser reloads - which happens when the layout changes from desktop to mobile or vice versa, or press F5 (Refresh). I'm not sure what you can do about it, but you would want to have the default selected only upon a new session.
