Good morning ralphy. Thanks very much for your help. That worked! I did the first part of your post and installed the faad. Soma AAC stream works, and BBC iplayer listen again (non UK) works too!
Was the second part of your post about faad2 something I need to install too? I still cannot access past shows on BBC iplayer. I get Error: Can't connect to remote server to retrieve playlist for, https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0008459/playlist.json: Connect timed out: Bad file descriptor.
