You are certainly right, I cannot easily read the smaller lines in the queue either, but generally - I don't look at it nearly as much as the Playing screen. I look at that frequently to see what is currently playing, especially when listening to Radio Paradise. The queue might be easier because there is no background behind it's lines. I have updated my Git checkout and restarted material/mobile - and I think you made the song title bigger or bolder? I like it.
