I just submitted 2.4.11 to the Microsoft Store.
Changes:
- Added Server Discovery. Now, you can press a drop-down button next
to the Host Name field and selected from a list of discoverable
Logitech Media Servers. SLX can discover the server name and Http
port number of servers on your local network. If you select from the
list, those fields will be auto-populated in settings. This took me
forever to figure out how to do, due to lack of knowledge,
documentation, and some virtual network adapters on my machine I was
not aware of. But anyway it is there now. There is also an
undocumented feature. Right-clicking on the title bar will toggle a
server picker control you can use to see the server name and you can
change servers without going into settings. (I run several servers
for testing purposes, so this is nice for me. I doubt average users
will care.)
- Logging. I replaced my rudimentary logging engine with a real
logging engine. The logging itself is still rudimentary, but the
engine is better. I think my my previous logging engine was causing
(rare) issues (stack corruption) handling multi-threading and was
slow.
