My startup for squeezelite is "/bin/squeezelite -m 28:24:ff:1a:0b:7b -d all=info -b 20000:500000 -C 3 -o default:CARD=X20 -n squeeze -f /tmp/sqlog -z" running on Linux
Using "nmon" I could clearly see the loopback adapter would be busy at ~60MB per second for about a second at the start of a track in an album. Monitoring via nmon during playback (once a track was loaded into squeezelite buffers during the first of second playback for any specific track) showed there was no subsequent disk activity or loopback adapter activity. So clearly, with a reasonable buffer size, LMS/squeezelite will load a track into the squeezelite buffers in its entirety. Below we see the the loopback adapter busy in the 1st second of playback. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: slim.jpg | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=28503| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ posnos's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62955 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111144 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
