Well it did, 32 bit kernel was the default and one had to select the 64
bit kernel by making an edit in /boot/config.xt.
Hmm... I didn't do any of this: downloaded the image, burnt it to an SD
card. Put it in a Pi 3B, powered up. Done.
Then expanded the filesystem, installed LMS, Spotty. Authorized Spotty
using the desktop Spotify application. Worked right away. No problem at
all. No hiccup, no additional Spotty helper required, nothing. It just
worked.
