For Material 1.3.0 one of the features I'm currently thinking about
implementing is a Material-specific Browse Modes setting. This is a set
of checkboxes in 'Server Settings / Plugins / Material Skin' page, the
same as what appears in 'Player Settings / Additional Browse Modes' This
will allow controlling the standard (Artist, Album, etc) browse modes
that will appear under 'My Music' in Material - and will be the same no
matter what player is selected.

As a user its always struck me as odd that the list of browse modes
needs to be set per player. Now, I can see the use-case when the player
is a real squeezebox, and hence it has its own on-player menus -
therefore controlling the selection here makes sense. But, with a
control point (such as Material, iPeng, SqueezeCtrl) this (to me) does
not make much sense, and the list of modes on these should (ideally) be
per-user. For Material, pinnnig items to the home-screen is a way of
allowing a user to control their list of modes. The next logical step
was to make the list of modes under 'My Music' be consistent no matter
what player is selected. And this is what I'm proposing to implement for
1.3.0

Before anyone asks, I'm not planning on implementing a toggle between
per-player and material-set browse modes. The appearance of non-standard
items (CustomBrowse, TrackStat, etc) will remain unchanged - as (AFAIK)
you cannot toggle these on/off per player.

If anyone has a git checkout and wants to try this, its in the
201-browse-modes branch (201 being the github issue)
