The music files have to feature these (additional) tags:
- GENRE=Classical (! Otherwise it won't show in the "Klassik" menu.)
- COMPOSER=Beethoven, Ludwig van
- WORK=Klavierkonzert Nr. 4, G-Dur, op. 58
- RECORDING=Hélène Grimaud / Masur / New York Philharmonic (1999,
live)
- You'll need to install Multi Library, Custom Browse, and Custom
Scan
- Configure Multi Library (I):
- Copy this file (unzipped): 29016 to your playlist
directory. That will create a menu "Klassik", including all music
tagged "classical".
- Configure Custom Scan (Settings Section):
- Module Settings Custom Tag
- Tags to scan: WORK,RECORDING,OCCASION
- Single value tags: WORK,RECORDING
- Sort tag
mapping: ARTIST=ARTISTSORT,COMPOSER=COMPOSERSORT,CONDUCTOR=CONDUCTORSORT
- Module Settings Mixed Tag
- Artist: ARTIST
- Conductor: CONDUCTOR,ARTIST
- Band: BAND,ARTIST
- Module Settings LastFM & Rating Tag
- Module is enabled: uncheck for both
- Configure Custom Browse:
- Copy this file (unzipped): 29018 to your playlist
directory. This will create the menu "Komponisten". It has three
levels: Composer -> Work -> Recording
- Settings: Menu position: Extras
- Enabled Menus: Check both checkboxes for "Klassik/Komponisten"
- Rescan your library. This may take some time because, after the
"normal" scan, Custom Scan will scan the library again. You can see if
it's still scanning by checking Plugins / Custom Scan / Settings. This
scan takes about half the time of a normal scan.
- Configure Multi Library (II): In the WebUI, go to Home / Extras /
Multi Library. "Klassik" should be listed. If the number of songs is
zero, click on "Refresh libraries".
If the menu is empty, the second XML file (the Custom Browse menu) might
need to be recreated. Sometimes a new ID gets assigned but the file
still points to the old one (hence lib_1_~. That library needs to have
ID 1 to work).
