I am not sure which thread is the best place to post this: spotty,
material, lms, etc., as I don't understand the the source of the
problem. I think I only see this behavior occurr when using the spotty
plugin, so posting here.
Occasionally when streaming Spotify, the stream stops very near the end
of a track, (2 secs or less,) or at the very end of a song. What I see
is the time left, using the material skin, to be flashing the time left
as *-00:00*. Sometimes, it repeatedly counts down from 2 seconds left.
I see LMS v8.0 with spotty logging enabled, to be repeatedly printing
out something like:

We seem to be stuck fetching metadata for the last track we just played,
not the next one in the playlist. I need to catch this smashup again,
and investigate using wireshark, but I don't think LMS is actually
communicating with Spotify any longer when this happens.
When the Spotify stream stalls, I simply hit the "Next Track" button in
the skin, and we are back to playing again. Regardless of the source of
the problem, could LMS could detect this condition, and continue on to
the next track automatically if there is one, to recover?
I note that I think this failure to continue streaming might be more
likely to occur at some point soon after I switch from streaming Spotify
on one player to another.
