I'm sorry to report that the issue is not solved...
Although it seemed that disabling mad solves the issues and I was
running for hours without issues two days ago I'm having the same
problems yet again since yesterday. It happens with squeezelite 1.5,
1.9.6-1205 and obviosly with squeezelite-x as well.
I'm running out of ideas and don't know what I'm doing wrong.

What I noticed though wile running squeezelite with Decode=Sdebug is:
The streamingbuffer will fluctuate pretty normally, at some point one
can see the buffer decrasing and one can pretty much see the stop
coming. For me the buffer will drop down to 511 bytes and playback will
stop until it basically resets itself with the following log-entries:
decode_flush:237 decode flush
codec_open:265 codec open 'm'

Sorry for the inconvenience, I thought it worked.
