Just an update as I'm testing right now: It might be different and new
issue. I wasn't using any fading before, when it's disabled it appears
to be working. Turning on fading will quickly result in random
stops/pauses.
Under the linux-based players fading is working. I will continue testing
though to be sure. If it turns out to be true I can live without fading.
