It seems recently that the Spotty volume drops after pausing a track for even a few seconds. Its sounds almost 1/2 as loud on resume.
I think this is due to transcoding: by default Spotty would stream Ogg directly to the player (if possible). When pausing or seeking it would use PCM/FLAC instead. And one of these formats seems to respect replaygain, while the other doesn't. Or similar. If you want to always have the same volume level, either turn off normalization, or disable Ogg direct for Spotty (SPT -> OGG).
