This probably doesn't help you, but the iPeng app for LMS on Apple devices auto-detects any copied URLs. So if you go to the YouTube app, copy a URL, and switch to iPeng, within a few seconds it will offer to play the URL on the clipboard. It works great with the YouTube plugin.
