Matthew, We don't need mechanize necessarily. The regex can be passed on any document and we can therefore use LWP. That would make it easier to distribute.
On the information display. I couldn't work out how you have introduced the delays. It would be nice to have the two views as options you could select. Again, not being a slim plugin guru this is not my strong point. No problem you tidying and distributing as you see fit.
