No more timeouts? Then that setting is moot, because it was just... whatever? Argh...
option set. I'm able to walk through menu on Squeezebox-Server-Website. If I choose a song from my playlist and start playing on squeezebox radio it takes up to a minute until the songs starts. At 08:02:11 I added a second song to playlist. After the first song finished playing, there was another gap from about 1 minute until the second song starts at squeezebox player.
When was that? From the log it seems as if the other song continued to play all the time. Or do you have multiple players?
And what UIs are you using? Material? Something must be polling status information every second or something.
