Hi, so i actually found my answer in my receiver's manual. Yamaha has a setting called Volume Interlock that once activated limits Airplay volume from a software remote control to -20dB (note that once this max is reached from an app, one can still use the receiver's remote or volume knob to increase the volume to its actual maximum). Deactivating this Volume Interlock setting provides the receiver's full volume range from a remote control app. However after making a couple of tests, i decided to keep the setting activated as i find it 'dangerous' to be able to go up to +16.5dB in a click (the MusicCast app is really well done in this regard as volume increases progressively when volume level is set high in a tap while volume goes down instantly when set low) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ david_phl's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70131 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105198 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
