THanks, i have a Raspberry Pi laying around somewhere, will give that a
try. But then there seem to be a difference with Spotty's Spotify
Connect and a amp with SC builtin. Spotty's works with accounts where
the SC compatible amp of my girlfriend just announce itself as a speaker
in the app and is useable by everyone in the same wifi, right?
It's not a Spotty limitation in general: if local announcements work,
then anyone in your network would see any player on Connect. But as this
seems to cause problem on your system, only the person who's account is
configured in Spotty would see the player in the Spotify apps.
If LMS with Spotty is run on eg. piCorePlayer, then no such limitation
should apply, as there likely will be no other application conflicting
with the local announcements.
