For some reason I cannot upload files here any more :( When using Add files under Manage Attachments it seems to work but files never show up in the window to choose from. It had been so much easier to explain if I could've uploaded the two images showing the difference between it having "remembered" and not. I forgot to mention that I'm using one of my Touches and its remote to add to the playlists. I also have used the settings for Playlist manager (under Advanced/Playlist manager (in LMS) I've added maybe fifteen favorite playlists which then show up in the Touches menu after having pushed the +button on its remote (which gives the Add to... menu, and then pushing Right which gives me Current playlist as the first optiion in the menu. The following options are the favorited playlists I added in Advanced/Playlist manager. I always thought the "memory" was a feature of Playlist Manager. When there's a song I'm adding that hasn't been added before, I always get Current playlist as the highligted option (the menu item has a black box around it). If the song Has been added before, and if Playlist manager remembers it, the black box surrounds the playlist I previously added the song to.
