I agree with your findings. So, you don't think it's a feature of the Playlist Manager, it's rather just the way LMS works, right? For me it would've been perfect if its memory just stuck :) I could've lived without being able to add a song to two playlists. I still think the Playlist Manager, as long as one adds those favorite playlists to the Touch's menu, is brilliant.
