Hi Michael,
Thanks for the response. I will burn myself a copy of the latest
SlimCD.
I know I've got hda1 mounted. I could cd to hda1, but I don't think I
got anything with a ls (although I didn't do /-l - what does that do?
I'll have a look for Midnight Commander - that might be easier for me -
you find the menus by right-clicking on the desktop, correct?
Thanks for the tip on bash - I knew it was probably simple....

Now, funny thing - the first time I started running SlimCD, the SB3
didn't update firmware! (it was on 72? for 6.5.1). When my wife tried
to start the second SB3, the processor load went through the roof and
everything froze, so I shutdown and reloaded - this time the F/W
dropped back to 28, and I had to reenter all my network setup!
Odd....?
Which reminds me, is there a way to save configurations (.pref?) so
that if you have to stop and restart SlimCD, you don't have to set it
up again? You've probably answered this elsewhere, but while I have
your attention..... please point me in the right direction!
Oh yeah, and how do I change the time?

Thanks again Michael!
