So I've found the setting in Daemon.pm. Changed to 320 there and now Baby Shark plays.
Ok, I'm back from a relaxing vacation, and I'm overwhelmed by these threads already :-). Would somebody please be kind enough to summarize the findings wrt. small files? This is quite surprising as I've often been testing with a playlist aptly called "short_tracks" (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1GuW3E6NllSoQGURQvmP2R?si=zdH109gxSfmRJEuBZiNmIg).
