It seems to be very odd, even with a slow datalink to the player that a 320kbps On-demand program should gave drop outs when playing on-demand, since complete program available LMS will send Mbytes of data to the player (unlike live where data is only available as it is broadcast) A PCP player has Mbytes of RAM for buffer and it will be playing in AAC - the player should be able to build up a large buffer of data ready to be played. Do you have this playback issue with audio files with data rate greater than 128kbps ? How long into a on-demand playback before drop outs start ?
