I disabled the "show on air text" and it's been playing for 12 minutes now (so far) with no pause or buffering. I think the text option must be what was causing it. Player is currently a squeezelite on my pc - just to make it easier to test, but I have four synced booms in the kitchen which is where I first noticed it.
