A lot of flipflip's stuff didn't seem that relevant to me But I patched up custom-convert.conf as indicated on flipflip's page so that it uses STDOUT instead of an fd. Should there be a patch to AlienBBC to make it use this STDOUT approach ? I noted that in flipflip's custom-convert it has [mplayer-stdout] which didn't work.
So now it definitely does SOMETHING when I try it (without -really-quiet I can see stuff coming through) but I don't hear anything. My current suspicion is that it is because AlienBBC doesn't pipe back from STDOUT, and I need to change something. But what?
