Thanks, so I take it "Analog (1+2) (RME ADI-2 DAC)" is the DAC that causes SLX to barf, right? And it looks like squeezelite-win is not having a problem listing that device. Yes, you can download a legacy installer, see first page of this forum for link. Just make sure you uninstall the Store App befire installing the legacy installer. Yes, it is hard to get into the Store App folder, it is very locked down. Store Apps generally can't run as admin. That is part of what makes them more secure. Since squeezelite-win does not exhibit this problem, then I will need to look at what the differences are between what I am doing and what squeezelite is doing.
