I wouldn't say that is the problem, that would show up in the logs there are no delays in getting data from within the plugin, all is working well. It is the player that is initiating the seek, which is what the logs are showing. The BBC Sounds live streams are a bit unusual, in that they are seekable. Most live streams aren't, so they can rewind, which I believe the synch processing uses to keep players in synch.
