Yes, that's the part I find tricky, too.  Shame I can't try your
RedHat script on my Ubuntu-Debian system!

Thanks very much for the URL.  The video gives a really clear
explanation of creating the rc.d entries, which I'd have taken days to
make sense of from a book.
