Hi Bruce.. The scanning code's (theoretically) not changed since 0.55.. Did 0.55 work ok ? Other than firewalls and mysql being locked-down, the only other vista issue I'm aware of is a slight quirk in the hostname/ip address system. What do you have in your preferences->server->ip address field ? If it's an IP address, try changing it to a hostname, and if it's a hostname, try changing it to an IP address.. I've been unable to repeat this problem myself, so let me know if this fixes things and I'll pop it on the site.
