Yep I have the automatic plugins ticked.
That downloads them but they are not activated until after the server restart. I was expecting the same behaviour as in the default skin (as described in my post) That way I can see which plug in has been updated and what the functional change is, so I can decide If I want to apply it straight away or wait for the next time LMS gets updated. Really not that big a deal, was more curious about the difference between the 2 skins.
