Just got an ECM8000 and a Tascam US-122L to do measurements. So the ECM8000 plugs into the Tascam's MIC IN L port with the phantom power turned on.
When connecting the right side channel should I use a balanced cable to connect my preamp's balanced out port to the Tascam's MIC IN R port, or should I use an unbalanced cable with a 1/4" phone jack to connect the preamp's unbalanced out to the LINE/GUITAR IN port?
