Philippe, being that you are swamped with stuff this may be of no importance, but I am seeing something I wanted to ask about...
I have been experimenting with the UPnP player gmediarender on an RPi Zero. I cloned the latest version from Github, built and installed it. I start it like this: SUDO NICE -N -20 GMEDIARENDER -F \"RASPBERRYPI-UPNP\" -U 7DA15C72-5066-426E-BB05-A429121F4B09 --GSTOUT-AUDIOSINK ALSASINK --GSTOUT-AUDIODEVICE PLUGHW:CARD=BOSSDAC,DEV=0 --GSTOUT-INITIAL-VOLUME-DB=-20 & It works, and the connection between LMS and the RPi UPnP player is fairly quiet at first, but after streaming a playlist, after the playlist ends, LMS / UPnPBridge running on my home server begins posting an error every 5 seconds that looks like this: [12:32:47.466525] XMLGETFIRSTDOCUMENTITEM:181 IXMLNODE_GETFIRSTCHILD(TMPNODE) RETURNED (NIL) (NIL) Inspecting the packets that are flying between LMS and gmediarender, every 5 seconds, LMS is sending a packet with the TCP NOP option set and a payload that includes "strm t0m". Is this a keepalive packet of some kind? Gmediarender responds with something that includes "stat..." but I don't know what that includes. Is this a UPnP player status message? LMS then logs a message like the one I pasted above, which looks like an error. Should LMS / UPnPBridge be pinging the player this frequently? Is there something wrong with the response coming back from gmediarender, or the way the bridge handles the response? *Living Room:* SB Touch + DIY PSU > CI Audio VDA.2 DAC + VAC.1 PSU > VRX.1 cables > Emotiva XSP-1 Gen 2 preamp + XPA-DR2 amp > Blue Jeans cables > B&W 804 speakers *Laptop:* System76 Galago + Ubuntu 16.04 + Squeezelite + Vivaldi/Material Skin > Emotiva Little Ego DAC > Grado PS500 headphones *Bedroom:* RPi Zero W + Squeezelite > miniBOSS DAC HAT > Bose SoundLink Revolve *Phone:* Pixel 3a + SB Player + Material APK > Senn IE80 earbuds *Server:* Puget Systems Serenity + Ubuntu 18.04 + LMS 8.2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ron F.'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5616 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103728 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
