Is it possible to have MAI disambiguate these somehow? Can I add an Id3 tag to the albums to specify a unique artist?
The problem is that some of the services (eg. Last.fm) don't disambiguate either. There's no way for me to tell them that "Hermann" should be the Swiss German singer/songwriters from central Switzerland, rather than some black metal from northern Europe...
