Using the latest upmpdcli and adjusted header it works fine unless I skip to around 5 seconds from the end of a track when the time bar jumps around and gaps appear. When the next track starts the time bar starts from zero even though the track is around 10 seconds in and then jumps forward to the correct time after a few seconds. I even saw the player disappear for a while after skipping close to the end. I guess it takes time to sort itself out. I also tried with no header and that seems to work just as well.
