Yes, SLX uses the squeezelite-win.exe (32-bit) and squeezelite-x64.exe
(64-bit) build from Raplhy's download site.

No, I am not seeing this, but I would guess it probably depends on local
factors.  If this happens under SLX, SLX would detect that squeezelite
is gone and display a message "squeezelite aborted, check squeezelite
parameters".
