If you goto: http://localhost:9000/log.txt You should see an entry like this when the restore has finished. Code: -------------------- TrackStat:Backup: Restore completed at 2007-07-16 14:05:45 -------------------- Capricorn;215000 Wrote: > > 1. Does that mean, I still have > lost data?If the files are smaller than before it means that you have less > data, this can be caused by one of the following reasons: 1. You have moved the files so they have shorter paths (but this is not the case as I understand it) 2. You have earlier moved some files before the reinstallation. If your music doesn't contain musicbrainz tags this will result in that you get a new entry in the TrackStat tables for each file you have renamed/moved. It is only the new entry that will be used but the old entry will be there and will be backuped as long as you don't use the "Delete unused statistics" button 3. The SlimServer rescan hasn't been finished (I don't think this will result in less data, but I'm not completely sure) 4. There is some bug in TrackStat which haven't been found yet that results in that all data isn't restored. If the problem is reason 2, you haven't actually lost any data. You could compare the old scheduled backup file with the latest scheduled backup with a diff program, for example 'Exam Diff' (http://www.prestosoft.com/edp_examdiff.asp) Capricorn;215000 Wrote: > > 2.
