Resurrecting old thread as it seems to be the only pertinent one to my issue.
VU Meter.... I am having the same issue outlined with volume effecting the VU Meter. This is only the case with using DACs connected via USB. When I use Coax, there is no issue. With USB, if I set the volume to 100%, then VU Meter works. Otherwise nothing on VU Meter and minimal showing on spectrum analyzer. I am using a Gustard X26 Pro connected via USB. A Cambridge Audio Dacmagic 200m connected via USB. A Denon AVP-A1HDCI connected via coax on HifiBerry Digi2 Pro hat.
