The source code is from the mplayer site and you will have to merge in
the Fixed Point code ( which I also got from the mplayer site). Since
mplayer is constantly changing, there have been changes to integrate
the fixed point code but it probably means the current snapshots won't
compile. You could use SVN to get a code snapshot from back in May or
else use the 1.0rc1 tarball from the mplayer site.

You must give more information about your problem:
1. What is the speed and type of your processor and how is output being
used. To do live stream - your CPU must be about 200MHz and probably
not playing the audio but streaming the WAV elsewhere.
2. Did you build mplayer OK and if so what is the base code (e.g. date
of SVN snapshot) and what changes did you ,ake to the Fixedpoint
patches.
3. What URL are you trying to play as the problem may be in the URL.
Use a BBC URL as a test rather than an unknown e.g.
mplayer -playlist
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/realplayer/media/fmg2.rpm
4. Give unabridged debug output (i.e. -v -v -v ) when playing BBC URL -
you will need to attached it as a zipped file.
